Of course it is the band's job to keep the crowd happy, but it is the crew's job to be the "jerks" and keep everyone safe. Between the lights and sound equipment, there is enough electricity to power 3 or 4 average homes running on and around the stage. Not safe when wet, period.

As far as the guitar player's problem being caused by the venue? Guess what? Bands bring their own stage equipment and techs. The venue crew puts a microphone in front of it and that's it, the band's crew has it from there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-1155344982688033432006-08-12T02:09:00.000+01:002006-08-12T02:09:00.000+01:00Found out last night in Austin why they are so reluctant to play skeleton live. Everyone would be quiet and two or three would yell the whole song through and ruin it for the rest. I was happy with the explanation and especially meeting Kele and Matt, the show could not compare to actually talking to them for a sec. But it was still bad assAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-1154458317823866462006-08-01T19:51:00.000+01:002006-08-01T19:51:00.000+01:00The NJ show was amazing!
