It's a really great album, and the instruments are spellbinding as usual, Uniform, Song For Clay, and SRXT is probably the best songs on it. If you listen to the lyrics to SRXT - you start crying, believe me. Great album, cannot wait for #3.
Oh, yeah, and the DVD that came with the limited edition isn't that great... But the music... When it comes to me i love the album and every single song in it. However, because of its diversity, it is unfair to compare the two albums. they are two different pieces of art. favorites songs: i still remember, uniform, song for clay. cant wait for album #3 guys, and Im sure that AWITC will last me until then :D also cant wait to see them in Manchester next Wednesday (valentines day) :Dliverpool philnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-59083676414978564652007-02-05T20:35:00.000+00:002007-02-05T20:35:00.000+00:00I cant wait til tomorrow.

Me and my friend are heading down to BestBuy after school.

I already got the leak, but Bloc Party definately deserve it, after working so hard to make this album.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-76477441945975505862007-02-05T18:36:00.000+00:002007-02-05T18:36:00.000+00:00BAD NEWS:

The picture disc vinyl release has been put back due to manufacturing problems!

Expect a two week wait if you ordered one.Shepshttp://www.myspace.com/sheps145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-40226825410904690352007-02-05T17:12:00.000+00:002007-02-05T17:12:00.000+00:00beautiful album and themes, i hope the next album reflects their answers to the problems presented in AWITCAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-73112328712523795932007-02-05T17:02:00.000+00:002007-02-05T17:02:00.000+00:00l'album est aussi sorti chez nous en France et je l'ai acheter y'a pas 1 heure.

do you know french love Bloc Party ??

just because sunday and uniform so great ...jtomshttp://jtoms.skyblog.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-9828715949988531322007-02-05T16:07:00.000+00:002007-02-05T16:07:00.000+00:00ARGH, here in the US I've pre-ordered it on itunes...still can't get it until tomorrow, until then i'm stuck with I Still Remember, all the Prayer remixes, and a live version of Uniform...ehh!Michael Murraywww.xanga.com/mswimmer11noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-73774520576320486452007-02-05T14:44:00.000+00:002007-02-05T14:44:00.000+00:00it's unbelievably incredible.
my pre-ordered copy hadn't come in time for college so i went to tesco and bought another just to look at in my free. i have also bought the girlfriend a copy and am waiting for the vinyl :D best day everAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-25249462829459068392007-02-05T13:36:00.000+00:002007-02-05T13:36:00.000+00:00I pre ordered mine and got it on friday, almost died when i opened it!!
Havent stopped listening yet, im in love with the whole album, especially uniform!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-13794909747750267652007-02-05T13:23:00.000+00:002007-02-05T13:23:00.000+00:00It's one of those albums that grow on you over time, after a few listens you appreciate where the band's direction is heading even though the only concern i have is that they are narrowing the song types.
Where Silent Alarm had Like Eating Glass, Banquet and So Here We Are in one album, this one, even though its great, seems to be focusing too much on one area...hopefully this leads to a great, varied and balanced 3rd album.
Sorry too much writing, my bad
Overall - Like A Fungus...it grows on youCarlosnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-89136650363872074632007-02-05T13:08:00.000+00:002007-02-05T13:08:00.000+00:00I have done it all on Friday :) Just love the release dates of the netherlands, always 3 days before the rest of the world :P

Hell of an album by the wayHannekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07756870496094849925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-7459614613842192552007-02-05T11:58:00.000+00:002007-02-05T11:58:00.000+00:00"Where Is Home?" is the only weak song. "Waiting For The 7.18" has morphed into a beautiful anthem. The album's conclusion with "Sunday" followed by the heart-achingly beautiful (stole that phrase from a review of "Sea Change" by Beck) "SRXT"... This album is an echo of Silent Alarm, but louder.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-71872386169928707832007-02-05T11:32:00.000+00:002007-02-05T11:32:00.000+00:00It takes a while to grow on you but eventually you realize how awesome it isMIDIhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09095157887031130312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17621507.post-59179774397531977272007-02-05T10:06:00.000+00:002007-02-05T10:06:00.000+00:006/5 brilliant from first listen onwards.
