We walk and we talk, but nothing gets said
Another day, another day
Flatter and corrupt
We sit and we sigh, but nothing gets said
Another day, another day
Flatter and corrupt
So right
So wrong
Another day, another day
Flatter and corrupt
We sit and we sigh, but nothing gets said
Another day, another day
Flatter and corrupt
So right
So wrong
NOTES:
Words: Kele Okereke
This version of the final track on 'Silent Alarm' dates back to the very early days of the band, when they were called 'Union'
It sounds almost unrecognisable to the album version, featuring a gorgeous spoken word refrain in place of the familiar mantra of "we sit and we sigh...". Russell's guitar work and Gordy's bassline are the only common elements of the two different versions
