FEATURED SESSIONS:
PEEL SESSION 30.11.04
1. So Here We Are
2. Tulips
3. Luno
4. Compliments [higher quality]
One of the final Peel Sessions to be aired on BBC Radio 1 (it was actually broadcast after the legendary DJ had passed away)...a fact which gives these four tracks extra poignancy.
Featuring: a rare outing for 'Tulips' and, according to many Bloc Party fans, the definitive version of 'Compliments'.
LAMACQ LIVE SHOWCASE 12.01.04
1. Introduction
2. She's Hearing Voices
3. Interview (part 1)
4. The Marshals Are Dead
5. Interview (part 2)
6. Little Thoughts
Bloc Party's first ever radio session, recorded before they'd even released a single and less than six months after they'd changed their name from 'Union'.
Raw, intense and edgy, this session introduced the world to Bloc Party and continued Lamacq's uncanny knack of spotting bands destined for big things.
