Bloc Party get posh
It's only two days until Bloc Party play at London's magnificent Royal Albert Hall...sure to be a momentous occasion. For those of you going to the gig, here's the stage times for the night:
Doors: 6:45pm
Mystery Jets: 7:30pm
Biffy Clyro: 8:30pm
Bloc Party: 9:40pm
Both support bands are really worth turning up early for. I've searched out a few mp3s of the two bands, courtesy of the official Biffy Clyro site and Eel Pie Abode.
Biffy Clyro
There's No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake (from 'Infinity Land')
My Recovery Injection (from 'Infinity Land')
Liberate The Illiterate / A Mong Amongst Mingers (from 'The Vertigo Of Bliss')
Joy.Discovery.Invention (from 'Blackened Sky')
Mystery Jets
BBC 6 Music Acoustic Session:
1. You Can't Fool Me Dennis
2. Little Bag Of Hair
3. The Boy Who Ran Away
4. Soluble In Air
XFM Session:
1. Alas Agnes
2. You Can't Fool Me Dennis
The show is being recorded for broadcast on VH2...more details to come!

Just got back from the gig. Twas AMAZING! All the acts were superb. It's the 2nd time I've seen the Mystery Jets and they've certainly grown on me. Biffy Clyro were new to me and I love their hard rock sound [plus the lead singer is a hottie...]
And Bloc Party, well you know. THEY RAWKED! As usual. I was glad for the encore. Not sure about the seats where the mosh pit was, but people got up and did their thang!
Good job!
p.s. Hey Russell...;)
