'Hunting For Witches'...out today!

The third single to be taken from 'A Weekend In The City', 'Hunting For Witches', is released today! Available across three physical formats, plus download, the single comes backed by a plethora of b-sides (including the never-before-heard track, 'Cavaliers and Roundheads')! Click here for full details.

P.S. Apologies for the recent lack of postage...BlocParty.net is currently taking a much-needed summer mini-hiatus (hiatusette?). Normal service to be resumed shortly!

The new b-side has really grown on, pretty cool. The Uniform remix is amazing in my opinion, best remix to come off of AWitC by far!

FYI, tickets for the new leg of the US tour are on sale now through Marshals. Just follow the instructions that are there to log in for the first two shows they put up. Otherwise they seem to go on general sale on Saturday.

Chipmonkey, you are not alone. I cannot access the forum at all. There was a server error of some sort.

Re Marshals show: What the fuck. I've been sitting here since 10.30 refreshing the page, it says they go on sale at eleven... then suddenly, BOOM, sold out. :(

Are you sure it's the third single out of AWItC and not the second? I thought the only singles out yet from AWItC were The Prayer and Hunting for Witches. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

And there was I Still Remember.

As for AND. Yes a while ago (months ago) it did close (when the address was alwaysnewdepths.com) this was due to the owner not wanting to run it anymore. It then moved over to www.blocparty.ner/forum. It is still known as AND though it wasnt the original one, if that makes sense. As for why it is down this time, as far as i know, we dont know. If it hasn't returned by the weekend, we will have to contact the board makers...
Hope that clears some stuff up :)

Three is evil
The most evil of all the numbers
Course and hateful
Full of unrest and neglect

(Hey)
When they get here
You become someone else
Cruel and distant
A cavalier to my roundhead
And as you make
Your pretty speech
I sing like the serious

With reason drowned by toxic force
I'm going to the darkside
..cause

Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you

I want reperations
The streets are run with your blood
I want the lime light back
I want it back

Theres no reason to pretend
We are closer than this (Hey)
I know
That you know
That I know
That you know
I'd rather claw out your eyes

With reason drowned by toxic force
Im going to the darkside
..cause

Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you
Sometimes I want to hurt you

I want reperations
The streets are run with your blood
I want the lime light back
I want it back

the most evil of all the numbers
coarse and hateful

when they get here
you become someone else
cruel and distant
a cavalier to my roundhead

with reason drowned by toxic thoughts
im going to the dark side...

sometimes i want to hurt you
i want reparations
the spree to run with your blood
i want the rhineland back
i want it back

theres no reason to pretend
that we are closer than this
